The set I sent you were a spare set taken out of a breaker of unknown provenance but believed relatively low mileage, so its not all that surprising that the initial test results were all 'fair' and that not a huge amount was needed to take them back up to OEM spec. You may have wondered why I was bothering to have them cleaned at all - the reason is that I didn't know their full and accurate history, so couldn't use them without confidence without checking first.
But.... the injectors on the car were the old originals that had done 150K miles !. So when I changed them today.... what a difference! I really didn't expect any change to be perceptible or significant but by the Lord Harry the change in the car was amazing. Back to slow silent and utterly smooth Merc idle with no perceptible engine vibration - you have to look at the tacho to be sure its still running - And any and all hesitation away from the lights; gone. Plus performance that I had forgotten about back on tap. Excellent.
